Undergraduate Programs

You can choose a B.A. or B.S. in Geosciences with concentrations in Geography, Urban Studies, Geology or Environmental Geosciences. You can also choose to get a certificate in Water Science, Geographic Information Systems or Sustainability.

Graduate Programs

An M.S. in Geosciences with a concentration in Geography, Geology or Water Science could beyour pathway to a fulfilling career. Also consider the graduate certificate in Geographic Information Systems to further your skills in a high-demand field.

You Love the Outdoors

Major in geosciences and get out in the field. Observe marine fossils in the Bahamas, collect rock samples in Costa Rica, map the earth’s stratigraphy in Montana, walk out in the city and learn about water infrastructure. Get out. That’s what we do.

You Love Maps

You love maps. Like, really love them. In Geosciences, we are the home of Geographic Information Science, data visualization and cartography. Learn about the power of maps and learn how to make them.

You Care About the Environment

You want the Earth to be a better place. You’re worried about climate change, about resource use, about the future of energy. Most important, you want to do something about it.

Study Abroad
