GTU kick off 2013

Hope everyone had a great summer and the semester is starting off well. Gamma Theta Upsilon (GTU) will have its first meeting on Thursday, September 5th at noon in Kell 314. GTU is a nationally recognized geography honor society here at Georgia State. This organization has come a long way in supporting exceptional geography students attend conferences and build networks in the field. Along with opportunities and support, GTU has expanded volunteer efforts which gives back to our community and enhances us as individuals.

If you are interested in learning more about GTU, please join us next Thursday for our organizational meeting where we will discuss our plans for the upcoming year, elect officers, and introduce the new advisor, Dr. Tim Hawthorne.
