Life After Geosciences

Going to school is a huge decision. One that will impact your entire life. From the bonds and the memories you forge, to the career that you choose, and the impact you have on the world. GSU Geosciences can help make your dreams a reality.

Our department forms strong bonds from day one. Students hang out in the “Green Room”, where they have access to computers, free printing, and lockers. Field events and laboratory classes help students to work as a group and to problem solve. Our relatively small department size leads to classes with trusted friends throughout your college career.

Because of these bonds, our students get engaging and rewarding careers. From consulting to higher education, from state and federal government to nonprofit, Geosciences students at GSU are making a difference. We have working alumni that are in regular contact with our faculty. We have faculty that have strong contacts in the private, government, and nonprofit sectors. What this means for you is potential…to find a career that you love…to impact the world…to pay off your student loans!

Where are they now?
