This year, the Geosciences Department celebrated its new post in Suite 730 by hosting the annual Geosciences Awards Night in Langdale Hall April 19th. Alumni, faculty, and current and prospective geosciences students milled and mingled in the new space. The department wishes to thank the students who, despite the end of the semester woes, rounded out the evening: Three Minute Thesis winners Celine Mollet Saint-Benoit, Hae-Seung Sung, and Jonathan Betts who shared their abridged research and our Supported Scholars David Davis, Vicky Cheruiyot, Benjamin Opiyo, Fatai Balogun, Scott Raulerson, Tamara Spikes, Margaret Boateng, Hannah Stefanoff, and C. Cartagena for decking the (Langdale) Halls with their posters.
